Easel Card

Hello friends !! What a lovely day it is today !! Today i am here with another post...one that i love...My very first Easel card..Yes you heard it right Easel Card. Now although most of us know what an Easel is...but still i will elaborate a lil more.

An easel is an upright support used for displaying and/or fixing something resting upon it, at an angle of about 20° to the vertical. In particular easels are traditionally used by painters to support a painting while they work on it, normally standing up, and are also sometimes used to display finished paintings. Hence this card that i am going to put up now is called an Easel Card. Here is an image to show how it looks like and stands.
Now coming to my card...its a fairly simple card but my first Easel Card. Here is how it looks
Here is a closer view...
A peep at the sentiment..which i absolutely adore...

  •  I have used Lindy stamp gangs
    • Delphinium Turquoise Star burst spray
    • Moon Shadow mist-Treasure island Aqua
    • Star burst-Tibetan Poppy Teal
  • The paper is from an old collection that i had.
For any suggestions and reviews please leaves your comments below. Thankyou

Newspaper Envelopes

Hi friends...I am here again with a new post...these are some envelopes i created a while ago. They are really easy..I first took some really nice newspapers...especially the ones that come on a Sunday since they use a better paper and cut them into A4 sized sheets. Then on a PowerPoint file i created the front of my envelopes. I inserted the A4 sized newspaper into the printer and took out the printout. Then folded the newspaper to make an envelope...something personalized for gifting to friends and family. Here are a few i made..these are for personal use only and not for sale..

Hi friends...how have you been doing ?? Despite the terrible heat, we crafters continue to do what we know best....that is crafting. Last summer i found some empty glass bottles in my store and decided to do something about it. So i first removed the labels on the bottle by dipping them into soapy water and leaving it overnight. In the morning the labels came off quite easily. Then i spray painted them with silver and golden colors and left them for a few hours. And then the best part....did some free hand tribal art on it and the result of all these efforts is as under..

And not to forget after finishing my drawing...i sprayed transparent spray paint on the top so that the drawing doesn't fade away.
